During their four years traveling the globe together, Vincent Conti and Mario Minichilli experienced authentic Masala tea, or Chai, which can be traced unmistakably back to the Hindu natural healing system called "Ayurveda" in which combinations of spices and herbs are used to cure bodily ailments. When they returned to Australia, they began to develop an authentic chai blend inspired by those they had fallen in love with in India. As they perfected their recipe at their Melbourne cafe, customers grew to love their chai and fate brought about a friendship with Koray. Prana Chai was born and is now spreading rapidly to cafes & their customers worldwide.  

Prana Chai N.A. formed recently to meet the growing demand in the U.S. and Canada. Vincent and Mario invited Brian, a friend and fellow traveler they first met in Africa, to bring Prana to North America. He shares the love for authentic chai from his many months spent in India.

The Natural Process

Our process is beautiful in its simplicity. Prana Chai is hand crafted using a premium blend of fresh, whole spices sourced from many parts of the world including India, Sri Lanka and Guatemala. We blend these spices with 100% Black Ceylon tea and just enough organic honey to bring out the rich flavors and begin the infusion process. Then we put it in a bag and send it on its merry way. 

Our ingredients are all natural and good for you. We don't use machines, additives, artificial sweeteners, preservatives or added sugar. It's an honest product and we take pride in the unique presentation, balance of flavor, aroma and freshness of Prana Chai.

A Simple Philosophy

We're chai drinkers, not salesmen. Our aim is to share the Prana (life force) that comes from drinking chai and to help promote a calm frame of mind through our tea ceremony. We work hard and put a lot of time and care into making a premium, authentic chai that people can enjoy both in their homes and in their favorite cafe.
